Interest in world digital conference SipConnect 2015 is growing

Only a month to go before hemisphere conference of news media and digital technology companies.

More than 20 speakers confirmed for the end of June event in Miami

The Press Institute of the Inter American Press Association (IAPA) today announced that more than 20 speakers have already confirmed their attendance at the SipConnect 2015 hemisphere conference. The event will take place in Miami June 24-26, 2015.

The speakers who will be attending the conference are, among others, Alberto Ibargüen of the Knight Foundation; Matthew Sanders, Deseret Digital Media (DDM); Claudia Gurfinkel, Facebook; Gordon Borrell, Borrell & Associates; Marcelo García Cisneros, Rekket; Peter Richards, Piano Media; John Sloan, Utah Media Group and GrowTix; Silvina Moschini, TransparentBusiness.com; Chris Rooke y Andrew Rosen, Nativo; Juan Damia, Intellignos; David Ho y Glenn Hall, The Wall Street Journal; Paul Lima, Lima Consulting Group (LCG); Jorge Heili, Dos al Cubo, Argentina; Susan Amat, Venture Hive, Miami.

The objective of the conference is to promote the new digital platforms being a secure source of revenue and generators of audiences, in addition to encouraging the development of networks and contacts between news media and digital companies in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

SipConnect 2015 will be held during three days. The first two days will be devoted to presentations, panel discussions and explanations on trends, updating of knowledge and proven cases of success. The third day will feature a Boot Camp on monetization of digital platforms. The event will also feature an exhibit area and social interaction.

The companies can acquire their booth and also participate in a special panel discussion during the second day to demonstrate their products’ advantages.

Taking part will be news media of the United Stats, Latin America and the Caribbean, renowned specialists in press issues and digital businesses and representatives of innovative digital companies.
